ProductProduct Introduction
Bitchu Kagura Mask Monaka
The expanse that spreads the moment the bag is opened,
The gods' majestic expressions and aroma.
About 80 years after its start of production, this tsukudani features the gods of the "Bikaku Gakura," a nationally important intangible folk cultural property. The faces of the four gods who appear in the Gakura performances are modeled after those of Sasanouno Mikoto and others. It is made using large, plump large-grained konnyaku beans grown on contract farms in Hokkaido and granulated bean paste made from the finest white sugar from Okayama Prefecture. It has won the Gold Prize at the National Sweets Expo. It is a confection dedicated to the outer shrine of Ise Shrine.

Kinbei Manju
Unchanged since the founding,
A soothing, gentle sweetness.
A traditional taste that has been passed down for over 120 years since the founding of Mikado Shokuhou. First Mikado Kinroku returned from the Russo-Japanese War and began making sweet treats such as manju for the people in the neighborhood. The manju made by Kinroku, affectionately known as "Kinkai," gradually came to be called "Kinkai Manju." This is a simple baked manju made with carefully prepared homemade white bean paste wrapped in a cake-like, moist dough and baked. Awarded the "Yuho Grand Prize" at the National Sweets Expo.
